My personal mission is to provide music for liturgy in a number of different styles to facilitate different forms of musical prayer, so as to offer something that will musically reach everyone. Specifically, I aim to push the bounds in both directions of traditional and contemporary, introducing more Gregorian Chant, organ, sung propers, and Renaissance polyphony into the liturgy, while at other masses including “praise band” instrumentation and the most recent contemporary worship music. I intend to create music that educates and inspires deeper prayer for congregations through these alternate styles of music, both of which are powerful, and in doing so, revealing the vast treasures of the church that exist in the most ancient and the most modern forms sacred music.
